The world stainless association has released figures for Q1 of 2025, showing that production levels for Q1 of 2025 are consistent with the range of quarterly production levels seen during 2024.
In Europe and the US, production increased by 2.9%, and 8.6% respectively. China registered a growth of 11.2%. Other Asian countries and other parts of the world combined registered a decrease of 3.3% and 4.5% in steel production.
