EEW Group’s new entity: EEW Offshore Wind Holding

The new entity, EEW Offshore Wind Holding, is one of three newly formed holding companies into which the group has been reorganised. It bundles the company’s monopile business, EEW SPC, with its production site at Rostock in Germany with the company’s mechanical engineering business, AWS Schäfer, which is based in Siegen, Germany.

EEW Group is family owned company and employs more than 2,000 people worldwide. With six manufacturing facilities, it is a major fabricator of longitudinally welded pipes and manufactures large-diameter pipes and pipe components made of carbon steel and stainless steel, primarily for the offshore wind, oil, gas and chemical industries.

EEW Group said EEW Management Services will take over the services previously provided by EEW Holding and the company will organise its activities according to business areas through the two other holding companies: EEW Pipe Solutions Holding and EEW AOS Holding.
