Jindal Stainless, India’s major stainless steel manufacturer, has been accredited by BrahMos Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. as a qualified vendor for the manufacturing and supply of steel sheets and plates from its Hisar plant in Haryana.
This accreditation highlights Jindal Stainless’ commitment to excellence and innovation in producing high-quality materials essential for national security. Jindal Stainless, Hisar, will manufacture and supply customised stainless steel and speciality low-alloy steel sheets and plates that meet the technical requirements of BrahMos Aerospace.
Among the select few globally certified companies with AS 9100D certification, a quality management system for aviation, space, and defence organisations, Jindal Stainless has recently developed and supplied 3 mm special alloy steel sheets for the Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) system, enhancing the Indian Navy’s anti-submarine warfare capabilities.
