Specialist manufacturer of water atomized powders and clad metal plate, AMETEK SMP Eighty Four announced the appointment of Dr. Brad Richards as Product Manager, Powders at its operations facility in Eighty Four. Dr. Richards will be responsible for growing the company’s portfolio of water atomized and specialty metal powders, with an emphasis on developing differentiated products for new and existing customers in the automotive, industrial and defense markets.
Dr. Richards has managed strategic aerospace and additive manufacturing metals portfolios, as well as metals engineering and supply-chain processes in previous roles. Dr. Richards has a deep background in product development and new product introduction. He is relocating to the area in order to take up this challenging role.
