Rodney C. Sandmeyer retires from Sandmeyer Steel

Sandmeyer Steel Company announced the retirement of Executive Vice President, Rodney C. Sandmeyer.
Before joining the Company, Sandmeyer worked with Merrill Lynch. During his six years with Merrill, he served as internal operations manager with stints in New York, Lansing, and Cincinnati, achieving the title of Assistant Vice President.
He joined the family-owned and managed Company in 1985, initially serving in the role of Manager Inside Sales. He subsequently transitioned to the operations side of the business, serving as Vice President Operations and, finally, Executive Vice President.
Rod was active in a number of outside organizations during his career, including the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC), and served on the boards of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and CUE, Inc.
