Schoeller Werk appoints new production manager

Herbert Frank is the new Production Manager at Schoeller Werk, specialists in longitudinally welded stainless steel tubes in Hellenthal. The automation technology engineer starts in his new position with more than 20 years’ experience in mechanical and plant engineering. His responsibilities include further development and optimisation of internal processes in Production, Maintenance and Tool Management.

As Manager of Production, Maintenance and Tool Management at Schoeller Werk, Herbert Frank is responsible for the smooth running of21 production shops with more than 740 employees, 300 plant systems, furnaces and machines. .. His range of responsibilities also includes the introduction of Total Productive Maintenance to boost operative efficiency and productivity. He is also planning to introduce additional digital technologies into the production so that the company can remain competitive in the future.

Herbert Frank is an electrical systems installer and a graduate engineer in automation technology. Before his appointment as Production Manager at Schoeller Werk, he worked for 15 years in various positions for a global supplier in the fields of automotive, aerospace, industry and agricultural technology; most recently as business manager for Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.
