Tullow Oil awards contract to WorleyParsons

Tullow Oil has awarded WorleyParsons a contract by to provide services for the foundation phase of the South Lokichar onshore oil field development in Kenya.

The Project comprises the development of the Ngamia and Amosing fields to produce an estimated 60,000 barrels of oil per day which will be transported to Lamu, on the coast, via a 900km export pipeline.

Under the contract, WorleyParsons will provide front end engineering design for the central processing facilities and will support Tullow Oil in the project delivery as part of an integrated project management team. The services will be led by WorleyParsons’ London office with support from other WorleyParsons offices and Kenyan based service providers.
