Carlos Alberto Treviño Medina has been appointed as the new CEO Petróleos Mexicanos. Carlos Alberto Treviño Medina will succeed José Antonio González Anaya, who acted as the head of the State-owned Production Company from February 2016 to date. This announcement was made by the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto.
González Anaya was in turn appointed by the Chief of the Federal Executive Power as Minister of Finance and Public Credit.
Until now, Carlos Alberto Treviño Medina worked as corporate director of Management and Services for Pemex. In Petróleos Mexicanos, he acted as CFO and on two occasions, also as Corporate Management Director.
