CENTRAVIS, a global provider of high quality solutions in the segment of seamless stainless steel pipes, has recently passed intense burst testing on its pipes by Bureau Veritas. Testing was carried out on three types of pipe currently in production. The CENTRAVIS 3/8″ (9,5 mm) x 0.035″ (0.89 mm) SS316 / 316L pipe, designed to work under a pressure of 3,596 PSI, was tested at a pressure of 14,384 PSI. The CENTRAVIS 3/8″ (9,5 mm) x 0.065″ (1.65 mm) SS316 / 316L pipe, with a working pressure of 6,685 PSI, was tested at 26,740 PSI. And the CENTRAVIS 1/2″ (12,7 mm) x 0.035″ (0.89 mm) SS316 / 316L pipe, which works at 2,697 PSI, was put to the test at 10,788 PSI. ESMA, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the sector of oil and gas to the UAE, took part in the testing.
