Amec Foster Wheeler has won the award of a lifetime enterprise agreement from EDF Energy to provide technical support and expertise for the lifetime of their current UK reactor fleet. The agreement will cover all interfaces of work with a focus on EDF Energy’s reactor systems, reactor technology and plant performance to the end of the operating life of its existing UK fleet of Advanced Gas-cooled Reactors.
The agreement further strengthens Amec Foster Wheeler’s long-term relationship with EDF Energy and continues to provide technical support across a wide range of disciplines, including, Modelling and Simulation, Rigs, facilities, specialist chemistry, managing ageing and obsolescence eliminating constraints and plant performance.
