Stainless steel for metro in Granada

LASERGRAN has made use of stainless steel AISI 304 and glass to build the entrances of the tube in Granada. The stainless steel used has been manufactured by Acerinox Europa and delivered by Inoxcenter in Granada. Two stylized elements that lighten the small and varied space will be incorporated at each stop.

The roofing of the structure has been made with two stainless steel arcs with a transparent glass cover, using as much daylight as possible. The singular architecture of the accesses is formed by two main stainless beams acting as brackets anchored to the foundation by the lower part through screwed stainless plates. They will be 9.3m long and a variable 3.5m width. The station name will be placed on stainless steel sheets which will help to maintain the rigid structure of the access and also act as roofing for these original pieces of urban furniture.
