A leading UK manufacturer of diffusion-bonded printed circuit heat exchangers, Heatric, has been shortlisted in the customer focus category of 2015 TMMX awards to recognise excellence in manufacturing.
For the first time, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ methodical and demanding Manufacturing Excellence awards are combined with the Manufacturer of the Year awards to create a single prestigious national prize, the TMMX awards. Nick Hussey, CEO of the Hennik Group, which publishes The Manufacturer and organises the awards said: “Any company shortlisted will have provided evidence to the judges of a superior level of understanding of what makes modern UK manufacturing so vibrant and competitive.”
Heatric has a global reputation for building light, safe, efficient and reliable heat exchangers worldwide. Heatric general manager Adrian Tattersall said: “We have made sure that the voice of the customer is now heard louder and clearer throughout Heatric than at any time in our history. A formal, pro-active ‘voice of customer’ process ensures that we are all continuously engaged with our customers’ technical needs and their wider commercial objectives. Making the TMMX shortlist is welcome recognition of all that commitment and hard work.”
