Nordkalk’s Board of Directors has appointed Jarkko Kaplin as the CEO of Nordkalk starting 1 January 2015. He will be reporting to Hans Sohlström, president and CEO of Rettig Group.

Jarkko Kaplin has been Vice President PulpPaper & Finland at Nordkalk since 2012. As the new CEO of Nordkalk, he will continue to be in charge of that division until further notice. Jarkko will also be a member of Rettig Group’s management team. Jarkko succeeds Bertel Karlstedt, Nordkalk’s CEO since 2006, who has been appointed as the president of the Pulp and Energy business line of Finnish Valmet Corporation starting 1 February 2015.
