Tenaris opens finishing facility in Ecuador

Tenaris officially inaugurated its new finishing mill in Machachi, Ecuador, on 16 September 2014 in the presence of local authorities, community members and employees. The result of a USD 16M investment plan that began in late 2012, the project shows Tenaris’ commitment to Ecuador and the development of its national industry.
 
The new OCTG threading facility occupies an area of about 70,000m2 and has a production capacity of 35,000 tons of pipes a year. It incorporates state-of-the-art technology to produce pipes of different diameters in accordance with the highest health, safety and environmental standards.
