Paul Wurth relocates activities to Valparaiso

As part of reorganising its business in North America, Paul Wurth has moved all its activities to the office in Valparaiso, Indiana from Pittsburgh. The decision to close the office in Pittsburgh and to run the Paul Wurth activities from Valparaiso is in line with the focus given to expanding the service and refurbishment business in the NAFTA region.

Major customers of Paul Wurth are located in the Northwest Indiana area. The infrastructure of highways and air transportation is ideal for Paul Wurth’s operations and give access to all other steel plants in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Consolidating the offices in one place is also expected to foster Paul Wurth’s traditional business in engineering, supply of equipment and installations and make collaboration more efficient.
