Prevas wins major order from Sandvik

Prevas will be delivering an automation facility for material handling to Sandvik Mining’s plant in Västberga, Sweden. Sandvik Mining is making investments in their plant in Västberga and will be increasing capacity with a new production line. Prevas’ order from Sandvik Mining is a comprehensive undertaking for delivery of equipment to the new production line and includes construction, manufacture, installation and commissioning.
“Prevas has a long relationship with Sandvik and I’m very pleased that Sandvik Mining is entrusting us to help them develop and produce a new production line”, says Roger Keller, regional manager for Industrial Systems at Prevas.
“This order strengthens Prevas’ Nordic position as a complete supplier of system solutions”, says Christer Ramebäck, business area manager for Industrial Systems at Prevas. “Over the years, we’ve earned a solid reputation for being a secure and reliable partner for our customers when they implement efficiency measures in their production facilities. This is not something that can be earned in a short time, but only after long and faithful service. We believe that true customer benefits can only be achieved through deep understanding of customers’ business needs and operations.”
