Globe Specialty Metals announced the appointment of Bruce Crockett to the company’s Board of Directors effective April 2014.
Crockett is the chairman of the Invesco Mutual Funds Group and serves as a director of the Investment Company Institute. He is also the chairman of Crockett Technologies Associates and a private investor. Crockett served as president and CEO of COMSAT Corporation from February 1992 until July 1996 and as president and COO of COMSAT from April 1991 to February 1992. Crockett is also a life trustee of the University of Rochester. Crockett will also serve on the company’s audit committee.
The company also announces the retirement of Tom Danjczek from its board of directors effective 15 May 2014.
