Structal has received a notice to proceed from PCL Construction Management to order the steel for the structure of Rogers Place, a new arena complex and entertainment district that is to be the new home of the Edmonton Oilers. Structal also received a notice to proceed from Hunt Construction Group to order steel and begin preconstruction and detailing services for the construction of a retractable roof for the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Turner Construction awarded Structal the contract to execute the steel structure of the Kimmel Pavilion, a 23-story building that will form part of the New York University Langone Medical Center. Tutor Perini Corporation awarded Structal the contract to execute the steel structure of the Hudson Yards Tower C, a 47-story high-rise being built in New York City. The St. Gédéon de Beauce, QC, Point of Rocks, MD, and South Plainfield, NJ, plants have been designated to fabricate the steel components required for the construction of the new structures.
