AutomationDirect’s line of NITRA pneumatics products now includes a wide selection of stainless steel fittings designed to stand up to harsh chemicals and washdown situations. NITRA Push-to-Connect Pneumatic Male Fittings are constructed with 316 stainless steel bodies and 303 stainless steel gripping collets with internal Viton O-ring to resist washdown situations. These are available in NPT and BSPT sizes and able to withstand pressures up to 290 psi and temperatures up to 390°F. The fittings can be used with polyurethane, nylon, and PTFE tubing. Bodies of elbow and tee fittings with threaded connections can be rotated after installation to allow for variations in piping direction.
