Three OFR Metals facilities receive ISO certificat

The O’Neal Flat Rolled Metals (OFR Metals) Birmingham, Monroe, and Lynchburg locations have recently been awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 certification for their quality management systems. This certification is a demonstration of OFR Metals’ continued focus on providing customers with high-quality products and services.

As a supplier of prime quality carbon, stainless, and aluminum flat rolled products, OFR Metals is constantly seeking to improve to meet the needs of its customers. “The ISO certification helps us to establish our focus on customer satisfaction and quality in the marketplace,” says Craig Pickett, Vice President, “we’ve worked to develop unique methodologies, processes, and systems that allow us to deliver operational excellence and quality products in a consistent fashion.”

With the awarding of these certifications, all of OFR Metals’ processing facilities are now ISO 9001:2008 certified. This allows OFR Metals to continue to focus their efforts on continuous improvement at each location and supply customers with the highest quality products and services.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification is a third party validation that the OFR Metals Quality Management System meets the ISO 9001 standards for documentation and business practice requirements for a systematic approach to achieve customer satisfaction by striving for continuous improvement.
