The BUTTING Handbook have been offering customers and business partners from the stainless steel sector the chance to pass on to their employees BUTTING’s practical expertise in processing stainless steels for years. Now the revised edition of the book has been published.
The third edition of the BUTTING Handbook although slightly reduced in length, density of information provided has been maintained and even increased. The new book contains information on products from the world of pipeline construction and background knowledge on manufacturing processes and sizes, tolerances, standards and materials.
Managing Director Hermann Butting explains, “Our objective is and remains to provide our customers with a standard work. We should like the BUTTING Handbook to be a useful source of advice and a reference work in which everything all round the welded pipe and its further processing is to be found.”
All the participants in the BUTTING Hands-on Days also use the handbook as a course text. This series of seminars has been on offer at the BUTTING Akademie since 2007. Two seminars which build upon one another provide basic knowledge about stainless steel pipes and fittings. The individual focus topics are discussed in short, theoretical lectures and then illustrated in practice with reference to current production.
