Stainless steel manufacturer, Kent Stainless was awarded two prestigious awards by the Irish Exporters Association. The stainless company was first awarded with “Maufacturing Exporter of the Year” which was presented by Enterprise Ireland with recognition to Kent’s first class manufacturing facilities and capabilities. It also recognizes Kent Stainless’s commitment to continual advancements in product development.
The company was then also given the overall “Exporter of the Year 2012” award presented by The Irish Exporters Association.
This year, Kent Stainless’s Wexford plant has shipped approximately 100 tons of Waste Water Treatment machinery to Holland, South Africa and Britain.
Machine Building and other sub-contract manufacturing accounts have been the primary contributing factor to the company’s steady domestic growth, which now accounts for approximately 30 per cent turnover.
