Amsterdam hosts a world of water:

By David Sear & Mark Casey

The start of November saw water professionals from around the world congregate at the Aquatech trade show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Water experts and utility managers further benefitted from a range of extra events at the International Water Week, such as presentations, plazas and site visits.

Held from 1-4 November 2011, the exhibition hosted some 850 water technology companies from 40 countries.

Stainless Steel World sent a camera crew to the show to see how CRAs are being used in this sector.

Balancing quality and price

Sadly we didn’t have time to video Fluidex – the Spanish Association of Fluid Handling Equipment Exporters – who had a major presence at the Aquatech. But there was time to quickly speak to Elena Fernandez who said that Fluidex members have a long history in the water markets and are strong partners in water treatment, irrigation and desalination. She also added that Spanish manufacturers offer an ideal balance between product quality and price.
