REpower Systems has concluded a contract with Zuidlob Wind B.V. for the delivery of 36 wind turbines. The turbines of the 3.4M104 type are to be installed in a wind farm near Zeewolde, Flevoland. With a total output of approximately 122MW the project is the largest wind farm in the Netherlands to date held by a single owner. The turbine type 3.4M104 is part of the latest generation of onshore wind turbines of the three-megawatt-class and is ideal for locations with strong wind conditions. The turbines have a hub height of 98m and a nominal output of 3.4MW each. The installation of the wind farm is scheduled for completion by spring 2013.
