KBR wins Pre-FEED at Anadarko’s LNG Plant

KBR has won a contract from Anadarko Mozambique Area 1, Ltd., to perform a pre-front-end-engineering and design (pre-FEED) study for a prospective Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant in Mozambique, Africa. The award of the contract comes as a result of recent natural gas discoveries by Anadarko and its partners in the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique. The pre-FEED study is designed to help Anadarko further determine the viability of building an LNG facility to export natural gas from the region. Partners in the Joint Venture consist of Anadarko, ENH, Mitsui, BPRL, Videocon, and Cove.
