TMK is shipping large diameter longitudinal welded pipes for LUKOIL, to construct a pipeline system. The system will be used to transport hydrocarbons produced at the Pyakyakhinskoye gas condensate field. Since fall 2010, when the project began, TMK has shipped more than 15,000tns of 1020mm and 1220mm diameter longitudinal welded pipes with trilaminar high-polymeric and external anticorrosion polyethylene coatings. Approximately 87,000tns of large diameter longitudinal welded pipe will be shipped to LUKOIL’s Pyakyakhinskoye project, which will continue until October 2011. Of this amount, TMK will ship more than 25,000tns. LUKOIL intends to commission the Pyakyakhinskoye field during the fourth quarter of 2011.
