EuroBLECH 2010 a success

EuroBLECH 2010 received excellent ratings by exhibitors as well as visitors. An officially controlled trade exhibition, EuroBLECH is audited by FKM, Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics. Companies reported significant increases in business activities and sales, and industry leaders referred to it as their best exhibition ever. The show was more international than ever with 1,455 exhibitors from 43 countries, 61,500 visitors from 98 countries and a net exhibition space of 78,600 m2. 46% of the exhibitors and 38% of the visitors came from outside Germany. 88% of exhibitors came to EuroBLECH 2010 to approach new markets; other reasons included attracting new customers, product presentation and customer care. The main categories of interest were forming technology, sheet metal, semi-finished and finished products, separation technology, machine elements, flexible sheet metal working, tool/die technology and handling technology. The majority of visitors were in the engineering, steel and aluminium construction and sheet metal and products business. Visitors also came from the automotive industry, electrical industry and iron and steel production.
