Mindoro retains Foronda as nickel consultant

Mindoro Resources Limited has retained Jake Foronda, on a consulting basis, for the company’s Agata Nickel Laterite Project in the Philippines, leading up to commencement of a pre feasibility study. As per the consulting agreement effective 3 January 2011, Foronda will assist with ongoing studies at Agata, particularly the assessment of processing and infrastructure issues, bulk sampling, metallurgical testing programs, permitting and government and community relations programs, in addition to upgrading environment, health and safety procedures. A Philippine’s citizen with 30 years of experience as a Metallurgical Engineer, Foronda has had significant recent involvement in nickel laterite project feasibility studies focused on nickel hydrometallurgical technologies. He has managed project studies for Intex Resources, Benguet Corporation, WMC Philippines and Lepanto Consolidated.
