Terang Sirasun Batur gas field development

BW Offshore has signed a contract with Kangean Energy Indonesia worth USD 875 million for an FPSO to develop the Terang Sirasun Batur gas field, offshore Indonesia. Under the ten-year contract the scope of work includes providing the FPSO, risers, umbilicals and mooring system, as well as installing and operating the vessel. The TSB FPSO will have a daily capacity of 340 million cu/ft of gas compression and conditioning. PT Energi Mega Persada owns a 50% interest in Kangean Energy Indonesia while the remaining is held by Mitsubishi and Japan Petroleum Exploration, each with 25%. Production of first gas is scheduled for early 2012.
