China Petrochemical Corp. (Sinopec), a subsidiary firm Sinopec Asia, discovered a large natural gas field with a proven reserve of around 121.1 billion cum at Deyang City in Sichuan Province.
The Sinopec Group said the newly proven reserve has been recognized by the government authorities. The high gas flow natural gas field which is called Xinchang Gas Field was discovered in May. Twelve gas wells have put into production and the daily natural gas output is 85,000cum.
