On 17 December 2009 Anyang Iron & Steel Group Co. Ltd churned out 396.47tns of stainless steel coils from its 1780mm hot casting production line, filling the most number of blanks of stainless steel coils in the history of Hebei province. Besides, the steel mill has received 3000tns of stainless steel coils orders, and it may continue to develop higher-grade stainless steel plates in the future.
