The BUTTING HeRo® (short for heat-resisting roller) is an uncooled furnace roller which is used in heat treatment furnaces for steel plates and slabs. The roller body, made from BUTTING’s longitudinally welded BUTTING quality pipe, is the heart of the BUTTING HeRo®. The pipe itself already has optimum shape and positional tolerances, a prerequisite for the subsequent manufacture of the ready-to-fit furnace roller as part of a far-reaching value added process.
