Van Leeuwen Wheeler has responded to toughening market conditions by offering an overnight delivery service, which enables customers to purchase material for immediate requirements. The company trialled overnight deliveries last year from its Brierley Hill warehouse offering specialist packages of materials for hydraulics engineers. The service is now available from both the Brierley Hill and Middlesbrough sites and has been extended to the full range of product lines. With courier services currently in place, Van Leeuwen Wheeler can supply materials to a maximum length of 6m, with no weight limit provided the items can be banded for handling with a forklift truck. Orders received by 1400 will be sent out the same night, with some flexibility for orders received after that time. For customers able to collect material from Brierley Hill or Middlesbrough, a same-day service is available and cash or credit card payment options are available for both overnight deliveries and collections.
