Due to his excellent work on the First Class Finance Concept in the Sandvik Group, Per Nordberg, Chief Financial Officer of Sandvik, has been awarded Management Events’ prize of “Strategic Economist/CFO of the Year in Sweden”. The prize was awarded in Stockholm on 18 November. Strategic Economist/CFO of the Year is a prize awarded by Management Events at its annual 600Minutes CFO event. Throughout the year, the participants at the forum nominated and voted for the people who they consider to be visionaries, pioneers and who have heavily influenced accounting and finance functions. The aim of the prize is to highlight a person who has had the greatest influence on finance/accounting functions during the year.
