Sandvik aquires Sanslip

Sandvik has reached an agreement to acquire the Sweden-based company Sanslip that develops, manufactures and sells machines for regrinding drill bits. All distribution is made by Sandvik Mining and Construction to customers within the customer segments Construction, Surface Mining och Underground Hard Rock Mining. Sanslip’s sales amounted to SEK 15 million in 2007. The company is owned by Arne Bergquist, and in addition to the owner employs eight persons. All employees are located in Sandviken. The business is conducted at Sandvik’s premises in Sandviken under a lease agreement.
