Redex, a company involved in copper wire rolling mills and precision stretching for stainless steel strips, has recently received two major orders highlighting the strong position that it has won on international markets in the steelmaking and metallurgy equipment sector. The contracts, which were signed in October 2007, cover: a stretching line for stainless steel strips in India, amounting to EUR 6 million. The customer is the Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), a major steel maker in India; and two copper rolling mills for ASTA, an Austrian company with facilities in the USA and India, for a total of EUR 3 million.
