Wuxi stainless coil centre

Taiyuan Iron & Steel is planning to set up a stainless coil centre in Wuxi city in eastern China’s Jiangsu province. The stainless maker is still seeking partners for its Wuxi project and detailed plans – including likely capacity – are still under discussion. Taiyuan currently operates several other centres including one in southern China’s Foshan city and another in Tianjin near Beijing. The processing capacity of these is 200 – 300,000tns/yr and the new Wuxi facility will likely be of a similar size.
