India: gasoline pool upgrade unit

ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Co. (EMRE) has announced that Reliance Petroleum Ltd has selected EMRE’s Sulfuric Acid Alkylation technology for the construction of the world’s largest unit at their export refinery in Jamnagar, India for upgrading the gasoline pool. Unit capacity will be 83KBD and will use mixed butylenes and isobutane feedstocks. The unit capacity will be achieved by employing several reactor trains.
