With floor space measuring 20,000m2, BUTTING stocks approximately 3,000 tons of stainless steel pipes in more than 15 material grades. This extensive storage allows stainless steel pipes â primarily those with standard dimensions â to be accessed in a very short time. BUTTINGâs storage strength also includes the fact that within days they can cover both individual orders for urgent repairs and extensive supplies for wholesale stockists. Also stocked are stainless steel pipes in 304L and 316L according to ASTM A312 in both common 6m production lengths and in 11.8m lengths measuring 6â? up to 24â?, with available wall thicknesses of 10S and 40S. The extension of BUTTINGâs storage capacities for the 11.8m lengths permits a better supply of fixed production lengths as well as less waste, enabling circumferential seams to be reduced. Furthermore the pipes are suitable for transportation in 40ft containers.
