India: coast-based refinery

Indian Oil Corp. has chalked out plans to set up its first coast-based refinery at Paradip in Orissa. The 15-million-tonne refinery-cum-petrochemicals complex will produce auto-fuel, high value distillates and petrochemicals include parazylene, poly-propylene, styrene among others. The refinery will have the capacity to process heavy and sour crude from the Middle East.
