Nippon & Sumikin raise SS price

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Corp., Japan’s largest stainless steel producer, has increased prices of its nickel-based sheets for a third straight month, raising them by 1.6%, because of higher nickel prices. The Tokyo-based company increased prices for its 304-grade steel to JPY 315,000 a metric ton, from JPY 310,000 a ton in February.
