Sweden: nuclear upgrade

Sweden’s Forsmarks Kraftgrupp, the owner of the Forsmark nuclear plant, has approved a 410MW capacity increase at the plant. The three reactors at Forsmark, all built between 1980 and 1985, have a combined capacity of 3075 MW. Production at Forsmark would increase by 3.3TWh. Forsmark-1 has a capacity of 961 MW, Forsmark-2 has 959 MW, while Forsmark-3 has 1155 MW. Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is majority owned by Vattenfall (66%).
