Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) has announced that Pat Hassey has been named Chairman following ATI’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr Hassey is also Allegheny Technologies’ President and Chief Executive Officer. Bob Bozzone retired as Chairman and remains a Director of ATI. In addition, H. Kent Bowen, Professor of Business Administration, Harvard University, Graduate School of Business Administration, and John D. Turner, retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Copperweld Corporation, were elected to the ATI Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting. Retiring from the ATI Board were Paul Brentlinger, Partner in Morgenthaler, venture capital group, Fred Fetterolf, Retired President and Chief Operating Officer of Alcoa Inc., and William Ouchi, Professor in Corporate Renewal, Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles.
