Shell management changes

Royal Dutch Petroleum Company and Shell Transport and Trading Company plc have announced a series of management changes with immediate effect. Among these changes is Sir Philip Watts’s resignation as Chairman of Shell Transport and Trading, and as Managing Director, by mutual consent. Mr Jeroen van der Veer, the President of Royal Dutch Petroleum, will succeed him as Chairman of the Committee of Managing Directors. Lord Oxburgh has been appointed interim non-executive chairman of Shell Transport and Trading.
