The South African Stainless Steel Development Association (SASSDA) invites candidates to submit an entry for its stainless steel award for 2004. The aim of the awards is to promote the use of stainless steel, encourage innovation and entrepreneurial development, promote the capabilities of the stainless steel industry and to enhance the image of Southern Africa in the international arena. Entries are invited from local and international individuals and companies who have used stainless steel in some form. One overall winner and two runners up will be selected. In addition there will be “highly recommended” recognition for deserving projects. Thw inner will be announced in November 2004.
