ESAB has introduced its latest plasma cutting machine, the Powercut 650 plasmarc. Capable of cutting any thickness from thin sheet up to 19mm (for mild steel), the 25kg Powercut 650 plasmarc is suitable for applications where a portable plasma cutting machine is required. The machine can be used to cut mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium in a wide range of thicknesses. It is suitable for use in the construction industry, in production environments, or within hire fleets. With versions capable of operating from a 230V and 400V power supply, the power source is rated at 40A at a 40% duty cycle and is equipped with a torch with 7.6m of cable.
