Xikomba EPS awards

ExxonMobil recently awarded several contracts associated with its Xikomba EPS subsea development offshore Angola in about 4593 FSW (1400 MSW). Cameron is providing subsea equipment while Kvaerner Oilfield Products (KOP) garnered a subcontract for steel-tubed umbilical supply. Technip-Coflexip previously won a contract for the procurement, fabrication and installation of flexible flowlines and risers, installation of umbilicals, rigid jumpers and associated subsea equipment for the block 15 Xikomba field. Technip-Coflexip also is responsible for the project management, engineering, procurement, transport and installation of production lines, water/ gas injection lines, gas injection lines and flowline end terminations. Installation work will be performed by CSO CONSTRUCTOR during late-summer/fall 2003.
