This year’s International Separation Technology Symposium will be held in Cologne, Germany on 19 and 20 June. The Lindlar-based stainless steel specialist Schmidt + Clemens is organising the conference for the fourth time and have been able to attract a distinguished panel of engineers. For instance, Gert Bergjohann from Pieralisi Germany will report on the capacity of vertical decanters. Bernward Feldkamp from Andritz Separation will talk about process data from centrifuges and Wolfgang Steiger from Flottweg speak about efficient sludge drying. Other panel members from Viscotherm, Hamburg Stadtentwässerung, Siebtechnik, Sumitomo and Centrisys will round off the technical programme. Schmidt + Clemens will themselves report on two material developments, amongst others the Lean Duplex Centralloy® G 21-02 and the high-performance material Centralloy® G 45 Mo.
