The first international trade fair for industrial coating technology in Istanbul took place from 6-8 October 2011. The PaintExpo Eurasia featured 98 exhibitors from various disciplines in the industrial painting technology field. Over 2700 expert visitors collected information about the exhibitors’ solutions during the 3-day trade fair, and expressed enthusiasm for the representative offerings covering the entire process sequence for liquid painting and powder coating. Exhibitors particularly appreciated the visitors’ technical know how; their concrete tasks fostered intensive technical discussion and interesting contacts. Ahmet Marangoz, managing director of Ilke Makina located in Izmir had this to say about the show: “Roughly 90% of the people who visited out booth were experts from the field of industrial coating technology who came to the trade fair with specific requirements. The other 10% were gathering general information. Participation at PaintExpo Eurasia was a complete success for us.”
