Foster Wheeler wins service contract new paraxylen

As part of a multi-billion-dollar expansion project by Reliance Industries Limited at its world-scale Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex, Reliance has awarded subsidiaries of Foster Wheeler AG’s Global Engineering and Construction Group a contract for the provision of engineering and procurement services. The project will be undertaken at Reliance’s Paraxylene Project at Jamnagar, Gujarat State, on the west coast of India.

Foster Wheeler’s scope of work will include detailed engineering, licensor coordination and procurement services for the new paraxylene plant. The project will be executed from Foster Wheeler’s Indian and UK operations.
